Godmanchester Bridge Academy is seeking a well organised, enthusiastic and motivated School Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Contract type: Permanent, 20 hours per week. Term time +5 days (39 weeks). Job shares would be considered for the right candidates.

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 12.30pm 

Salary: Scale 3 Point 5 - 6, namely £11,493.08 -£11,675.28 (FTE £24,790 - £25,183)


School Administrative Assistant

Godmanchester Bridge Academy is seeking a well organised, enthusiastic and motivated School Administrative Assistant to join our team.

We are seeking a suitable person with appropriate experience to join our established office team. The right character, team spirited with a strong belief in good customer service, the ability to keep calm and be prepared for almost anything will be important attributes for this position.

The school office is a very busy and fast-paced environment, where the requirements and needs of the staff and children regularly change with short notice, so the successful candidate will need the ability to be flexible, have strong multi-tasking skills.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Enjoy customer service and have a professional attitude with all clients
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and be discreet with information
  • Have a willingness to learn and display initiative to prioritise tasks and multi-task
  • Work as a team member and have strong communication skills
